In study "Impact of urbanization on seawater quality in Quang Ninh province" the authors use indicators to assess the level of water pollution, such as chemical and microbial pollution and measure the impact of urban factors, such as population growth, wastewater discharge and water consumption. In the survey results of seawater quality in two seasons, the rainy season and the dry season, there is a difference in some specific hydrological indicators, such as Coliform exceeding the allowable threshold in the dry season and iron and ammonium content tending to increase.

Aerobic granular sludge has a bacterial layered structure including anaerobic, anoxic and aerobic bacteria in order from inside to outside layer, so it is capable of simultaneous chemical oxygen demand, nitrogen and phosphorus removal.

Compare to other documents, our study was for the first time validated the quality criteria of ICP-MS for analyzing nineteen metal levels in wastewater samples. The application of this method was then tested by analyzing nineteen metal levels in twenty-three wastewater samples in the Tham Luong Canal in Ho Chi Minh City. Based on these results, the correlation of the concentration of these metals in wastewater samples was determined.

The objective of this paper is to apply Pham Ngoc Ho’s method for aggregate water quality assessment of surface water and wastewater at different monitoring points around Hanoi, Vietnam. Water quality indicated by chemical oxygen demand, total nitrogen, ammonium nitrogen, and total phosphorus from the effluent complied with the widely accepted limits on domestic wastewater discharge. The water quality of rivers located in areas close to major cities is deteriorating significantly due to increased pollution. The Karasu River, which passes through Erzurum city Turkey, is getting polluted day by day due to domestic and industrial wastewater. In the study, various assessments were made in three different fish species to determine the impact of possible contamination here.
