In this paper, we have prepared peripherally tetra-({6-[3-(diethylamino)phenoxy]hexyl}oxy substituted cobalt(II), copper(II), manganese(III) phthalocyanines (3, 4, 5) and their water-soluble derivatives (3a, 4a, 5a). Then, in vitro α-glucosidase and cholinesterases inhibitory actions of the water-soluble 3a, 4a, 5a were examined using spectrophotometric methods. 4a had the highest inhibitory effects among the tested compounds against α-glucosidase due to IC50 values. 4a and 5a had 40 fold higher inhibitory effects than the positive control.

Our focus in this study is on the design and synthesis of a light-responsive peptide-based nanocarrier in order to develop effective and biocompatible drug delivery systems. The synthesized nanocarrier is basically composed of peptide amphiphiles comprising a micelle forming a Pro-Pro-Pro-Lys-Lys-Lys peptide sequence with an attached anthracene fluorophore. Anthracene containing an inner core of the micelle can serve as a storage site for poorly watersoluble drugs.

In present study GPS based three hundred three surface (0-15 cm depth) soil samples, were collected across the district. The Zn, and Fe deficient in 79.54% and 7.92 percent soil samples and none of soil samples were found to be deficient in Cu, Mn and B. Soil pH showed significant and negative correlations with Zn, Cu, Mn and Fe. The EC had positive and significant relationship with OC and B with r values of 0.163** and 0.168**, respectively.
