A study on the translation into Vietnamese of culture specific items in the novel to kill a mocking bird

This study analyzes the translation into Vietnamese of culture-specific items of proper names and common expressions in the novel To Kill a Mocking Bird. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were employed to conduct the study, and the data gathered provide insights into the pattern of translation strategies, including preservation, addition, omission, globalization, localization and transformation.
