Note: Conditional sentences type 2 and 3 can be the same in tenses in reported speech. VI. INDEFINITE PRONOUNS Đại từ bất định không xác định một người/vật nào rõ ràng. Khi đại từ bất định làm chủ từ thì động từ ở số ít. Một số đại từ bất định: Everybody, Everyone, somebody, anybody, nobody... Everybody, everyone = mọi người (=all [the] people) Somebody, someone, anybody, anyone = một người nào đó.
- Some dùng trong câu khẳng định, any dùng trong câu hỏi và câu phủ định. Everything = mọi cái, mọi vật (all [the] thing) Something, anything = mọi vật, một điều gì. Something dùng trong câu khẳng định. Anything dùng trong câu hỏi và trong câu phủ định. Nobody, no one = không người nào. Nothing = không cái gì. Các đại từ này không đi với trạng từ phủ định.
