Deterioration in qualitative and quantitative parameters of sugarcane due to yellow leaf disease

Yellow leaf disease (YLD) is becoming a serious concern in sugarcane worldwide. The crop production and quality are going down due to the infection of this disease in sugarcane. An experiment was conducted to find out the effect of YLD on yield and quality of two early (Co 0238, CoS 03251) and two mid late (CoS 97261, Co 05011) sugarcane cultivars at SRI, Shahjahanpur during the year 2015-16.
