Distillery raw spent wash as an amendment for reclamation of sodic and calcareous sodic soil

Sodic soils are characterized by adverse physical conditions with high sodium build up. These soils can be put to crop production only when they are reclaimed using calcium bearing chemical amendments. In this regard, attempts were made to study utilization of distillery spent wash to reclaim sodic soil and calcareous sodic soil.
