Acute leukemia

Bài viết trình bày mô tả cảm xúc - hành vi tại thời điểm bắt đầu điều trị trẻ mắc bệnh bạch cầu cấp dòng lympho tại khoa Ung thư – Bệnh viện Nhi Trung Ương. Đối tượng và phương pháp nghiên cứu: Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang 64 trẻ từ 2 đến 15 tuổi được chẩn đoán xác định bạch cầu cấp dòng lympho (acute lymphoblastic leukemia – ALL), theo dõi và điều trị liệu trình hóa chất tại bệnh viện Nhi Trung Ương.

Hue Central Hospital (HCH) plays a key role intreating Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in the central zone of Vietnam which covers geographically vast areas. Before 2010, all the AML patients died, and abandonment rate was more than 50%.The aims of this study are to determine the outcome of newly diagnosed children with AML treated at HCH from 2010 to 2018.

We conducted a study on the epidemiology of childhood cancer at Central Zone of Vietnam, in two hospitals: Hue Central Hospital and Danang Hospital of Women and Children, during the period of April 2014 - July 2019.

The patient, a 22-year-old female, was diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (an aggressive non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma). The patient had completed 6 cycles of R-CHOP (from March 2018 to July 2018). After that, the patient was re-examined regularly monthly (manifested with moderate and hypochromic anemia, bone marrow aspiration was negative for malignancy).

The mixed-lineage leukemia (MLL) gene is located on chromosome 11q23.
