Investigation of electron absorbed dose distribution inside a Lo Ren star apple irradiated by 10 Mev electron beam has been performed based on Monte Carlo simulation using the MCNP4c code. Dose uniformity ratio (DUR) inside the Lo Ren star apple has also been evaluated and optimized using additional medium density fiberboards (MDF) outside the carton box. The DUR inside the fruit without using the additional MDF boards was estimated of about 2.47, which is excessively high for fruit irradiation compared to a desirable value of less than 1.5.

Never the less, using this plough as farm tool is labour intensive, time taking, making shallow depth and narrow cutting width. Thus, this research is initiated to come up with a solution to the aforementioned problems. In this paper, we updated the list of monogenean species from marine fishes of Vietnam. Taxonomic position of monogenean species were arranged according to the current classification system. A total of 220 monogenean species from 152 marine fish species were listed. Distribution, hosts and references of each species were given. In addition, amendations of taxonomic status of taxa were also updated.

A field experiment was conducted during kharif 2016 at R&D farm of Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd., Udumalpet with seven treatments comprising of two irrigation (100% and 150% ETc) and three fertigation levels (75%, 100% and 125% RDF) in addition, surface irrigation method as a check were arranged in randomized block design and replicated thrice. Rice was grown in sandy clay soil with pH and EC of 7.6 and 0.21 (dS m-1 ), respectively. A 115 day long variety ADT (R) 45 was used with spacing of 20x10cm. Fertilizers were applied @ 150:50:50 kg of N P2O5 K2O ha-1 .

The teachers’ use of tasks was documented through classroom observations and their difficulties in tasks implementation were explored through questionnaires and interviews. Different from the linear chromosomes of eukaryotes, most chromosomes of bacteria are circular. In this paper, we investigated the arrangement of trimers in Bacillus cereus chromosome by recording physical positions of individual trimers along the single-stranded sequence of this chromosome in the 5’ to 3’ direction. Our very first finding was that numbers of individual trimers in this chromosome were very much not the same. In an attempt to find out how the trimers were arranged along the chromosome, we found that every trimer was distributed unevenly and throughout the chromosome.

Bakernema enormese sp. n., collected from rhizosphere of forest wood trees in Muong Phang, Dien Bien Province (north Vietnam) is described and illustrated. The new species is characterized by large body size and stylet. In general, this new species is close to two existing species of the same genus, B. inaequale and B. dauniense by cuticle structure in transparent membranous projections which appear in lateral view as spine-like structures on each annulus.
