Bounded disturbances

Ruminants are herbivorous, forgot fermentors. They are able to acquire nutrients from plant based foods by fermenting it in a specialized stomach having four-compartment stomach. Any sudden change in feeding pattern or an improper feeding regimen is bound to disturb the balance of the various types of microbes, leading to an over population of certain unfavorable microbes and changes in rumen environment that may cause severe problem in animals.

The ultimate stability of nonlinear time-varying systems with multiple delays and bounded disturbances are investigated in this paper. Based on some comparison techniques via differential inequalities, explicit delay-independent conditions are derived for determining an ultimate bound such that all state trajectories of the system converge exponentially within that bound. The obtained results also guarantee exponential stability of the system when the input disturbance vector is ignored. Numerical simulations are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.

This paper is concerned with the problem of practical stability of linear time-varying delay systems in the presence of bounded disturbances. Based on some comparison techniques associated with positive systems, explicit delay-independent conditions are derived for determining a neighborhood of the origin which ultimately bounds all state trajectories of the system.

Gout is a picturesque presentation of uric acid disturbance. It is the most well understood and described type of arthritis. Its epidemiology is studied. New insights into the pathophysiology of hyperuricemia and gouty arthritis; acute and chronic allow for an even better understanding of the disease. The role of genetic predisposition is becoming more evident. The clinical picture of gout is divided into asymptomatic hyperuricemia, acute gouty arthritis, intercritical period, and chronic tophaceous gout. Diagnosis is based on laboratory and radiological features.

The efficient and effective speed controllers can be designed by using adaptive control techniques. In which the conventional PI controller is replaced by structures based on Sliding Mode Control (SMC) strategy. SMC is known for its capability to cope with bounded disturbance as well as model imprecision which makes it ideal for the robust nonlinear control of IM drives.
