An empirical study was carried out in Chennai to explore the general dog management practices followed and constraints faced by pet parents. The data was collected using pre tested interview schedule among randomly selected 118 pet owners in Chennai. The study reflected that majority of the dog owners in Chennai were belonging to young age group (68.64 %), male (72.03 %), finished collegiate education (72.03 %), belonging to nuclear type family (51.69 %) and categorized under upper middle income group (44.92 %).

In this paper, we present the concept of strict factor set on the group Γ with coefficients in categorical groups of the type (Π, A). We define the element h ∈ H3 Γ and give a new interpretation of cohomology groups with third-dimensional operator Γ. The element h determines a 1-1 correspondence between classes of factor sets on Γ with coefficients in (Π, A) and group H3 Γ (Π, A).

The present study was conducted in Awagarh block of Etah district of Uttar Pradesh to find out the extent of adoption of organic farming practices by farmers in crop production. Study revealed that majority of the farmers 60.00 per cent found to overall medium adoption group followed by low adoption group 22.00 per cent and high adoption of organic farming practices 18.00 per cent respectively. The adoption on different types of organic farming practices, 30.00 per cent farmers had completely adopted the weed control method followed by use of bird pitcher 24.

We found that Notched-fin eelpout, which lives off the north east coast of Japan, expresses an antifreeze protein (AFP). The liver of this fish contains DNAs that encode at least 13 type III AFP isoforms (denoted nfeAFPs). The primary sequences of the nfeAFP isoforms were categor-ized into SP- and QAE-sephadex binding groups, and the latter were fur-ther divided into two subgroups, QAE1 and QAE2 groups. Ice crystals observed in HPLC-pure nfeAFP fractions are bipyramidal in shape with different ratios ofc andaaxes, suggesting that all the isoforms are able to bind ice....
