The study focused on different entities from farmers to the port of Callao of an organic coffee supply chain where disintegration is constant. The paper describes a misaligned supply chain including poorly collaboration. All problems found will be an opportunity to develop a distribution model in the organic coffee supply chain of Junín region.

The study examined factors affecting the relationship quality between coffee farmers and local traders. This study used data collected from 201 coffee farmers. The results showed that there were five factors affecting the relationship quality, including collaboration, perceived price, profit/risk sharing was power asymmetry, and effectiveness communication.

The paper highlights cost and returns of coffee growing by tribal farmers at Paderu division in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh.Data collection was done using pre tested questionnaire administrated on 90 coffee producers selected randomly. According to the study small scale traditional farms had negligible fixed costs. So we have not taken the fixed costs in computation of cost of cultivation of coffee in the present study. The gross margin analysis indicates average total variable cost of coffee was Rs.

These practices expose the farmers, their animals and the environment to pesticide poisoning. Nevertheless, >50% of these respondents were aware of the negative effects pesticides are likely to cause to humans, animals and environment. Therefore, in order to minimize pesticide exposure and toxicity, training and awareness campaigns on pesticides use, particularly pesticide disposal should be rolled out to all the coffee growing agro-ecologies of Uganda.
