The problem investigated is the potential gap between the rhetoric of the 'promise of e-business' versus the dynamics of enactment and impacts of ICT in practice in the social enterprise sector. The main contribution of the research is to identify the real development impact of lCT use by social enterprises by assessing the role of ICTs in achieving their goals. Its major finding is that SEs' social and business missions are inextricably linked .and their use of ICTs and benefits from it can be used as a proxy to assess ICTD. Thus SEs provide a new paradigm in the study of ICTD.

The aim of the research is to explore the effects of Thai culture on the efficacy of Western modelled performance management (PM) in a cross-cultural setting. Thailand is becoming increasingly important to Australian businesses, particularly in view of the ASEAN Economic Community Plan, which is now in its final stages implementation (ASEAN 2015). The primary data for this study was sourced from 43 semistructured and in-depth interviews with 30 participants.

The focus of this study is on two of these factors: gender stereotyping and bullying. Gender stereotypes are the beliefs and attitudes that are presumed to distinguish between women and men (Rollero, Glick & Tartaglia, 2014), while bullying can be referred to as the repeated acts of an individual or group with the intention to harman individual holding an inferior position of power (Goldsmid & Howie 2014). While these two separate issues can occur independent of one another and in combination, gender based stereotyping and bullying both form critical barriers to female professionals.

This research study aims to examine the question: what challenges are presented, and changes required, to adapt authentic, experiential learning opportunities to the virtual environment in order to develop students’ competencies to communicate interculturally and collaborate effectively in global virtual teams? The research is located within theories associated with experiential learning and authentic learning. It explores how these theories can be extended to student learning in, and for, the global business context, using the virtual learning space.

The object of this study is the two groups of factors of human capital, including personality traits (noncognitive human capital), experience, and education (cognitive human capital) and SEI. The author coordinated with the Vietnam Social Enterprises Community (SSEC) to collect data from individuals participating in social entrepreneurship-related activities. The sample in this study is selected according to the conventional method. The questionnaire survey link created on Google Forms is sent to individuals who participate in the activities organized by SSEC.
