Graduation thesis "A study on the translation of English terms in some logistics documents" aims to figure out an overview on translation solutions and procedures to have an effective understanding and communication in maritime logistics. I would like to collect and present English terms in maritime logistics profession and provide some knowledge of knowledge of document logistics to students.

Hepatitis B is endemic amongst the Australian Aboriginal population in the Northern Territory. A participatory action research project identified the lack of culturally appropriate education tools and led to the development of the “Hep B Story” app in the Aboriginal language Yolŋu Matha. This paper describes a formal evaluation of the app’s frst version, which informed improvements and translation into a further ten Aboriginal languages.

It will highlight the interference on the language of QS, which is defined as quorum quenching (QQ). This study aims at further exploring the effectiveness of translation as a pedagogic tool in an EFL class for Vietnamese non-English majored students. After comparing the students’ performance after learning through translation method and other methods with no use of L1, it seems that the students who were taught using translation tasks were able to use items of vocabulary and language structures they have just learned more frequently and precisely.

We study the escape process of nascent proteins at the ribosomal exit tunnel of bacterial Escherichia coli by using molecular dynamics simulations with coarse-grained and atomistic models. It is shown that the effects of hydrophobic and electrostatic interactions on the protein escape at the E. coli’s tunnel are qualitatively similar to those obtained previously at the exit tunnel of archaeal Haloarcula marismortui, despite significant differences in the structures and interactions of the ribosome tunnels from the two organisms.

This article presents a contrastive analysis of conceptual metaphors (CMs) denoting the concept of “Life” in English and Vietnamese lyric songs.
