Tuy nhiên miếng trám xoang loại V thường được ghi nhận kém bền vững, rìa miếng trám dễ dư thừa và gây sâu răng thứ phát do vi kẽ. Nghiên cứu này được thực hiện nhằm đánh giá ảnh hưởng của độ mặn lên kết quả ương cá sủ đất giai đoạn giống. Thí nghiệm một nhân tố được thiết kế theo kiểu ngẫu nhiên hoàn toàn với năm mức độ mặn được thử nghiệm gồm 10‰, 15‰, 20‰, 25‰ và 30‰. Cá con, có kích thước ban đầu là 3,29 ± 0,03 cm và 0,62 ± 0,07 g/con, được bố trí ương trong các bể composite 100 lít với mật độ 1 con/lít.
