In this study, we develop a new framework to extend the work of Mahlberg and Sahoo (2011) to the field of metafrontier so as to trace the contributions of a specific output and a specific input to the aggregate productivity change under a metafrontier.

The purpose of this study is to discover an approach where the outputs of the farms are maximum at the minimal input. Malaysia is well known for its crop (such as rubber, rice, palm oil, tea). Prior studies show that due to the climate change, there are likely chances that the farms of Malaysia will go extinct. In this study, the main focus is to efficiently use the energy resources to save it for the future in a prolonged manner. The data was collected from the website of Department of Statistics Malaysia, Official Portal. The data was taken for rubber and crops category.

Digital video broadcasting-next generation handheld (DVB-NGH) is the first broadcasting standard that incorporates multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) techniques to overcome the Shannon limit of single antenna systems. This paper contributes to analyze the performance of the DVB-NGH MIMO coded modulation system. The detailed performance degradation from information-theoretic limit to implementation by average mutual information and extrinsic information transfer analysis is presented, which provides an insight guideline for future system improvement.

This article uses Input-output (IO) analysis to evaluate the impact of ICT on the Vietnamese economy. Two IO tables are used, including tables from 2007 and 2012. The results show that ICT sectors were small in the Vietnamese economy and the spending on ICT products and services of an average sector of the economy was generally low.

In this paper, we refer to Wang’s method for ranking DMUs but argue that his way of selecting the weights is not the appropriate one. Namely, in the cross-efficiency evaluation of DMUs, we always search for the weights which use minimum resources to increase the production.

Access Economics defines the economic contribution of international students as deriving from the income flow from this expenditure, in other words, the value added component of this expenditure. Value added is that part of the expenditure which either forms the basis of income for labour or gross operating surplus (GOS) to capital owners, after allowing for spending on intermediate inputs from other industries and taxes on production (net of subsidies).

The current control problems present natural trend of increasing its complexity due to performance criteria that is becoming more sophisticated. The necessity of practicers and engineers in dealing with complex dynamic systems has motivated the design of controllers, whose structures are based on multiobjective constraints, knowledge from expert, uncertainties, nonlinearities, parameters that vary with time, time delay conditions, multivariable systems, and others.

This guide is about the farm as a commercial enterprise operating in a market economy. Generally the word farm has a wider meaning namely land, livestock and crops, farm buildings and a house; and a place where people live and work and where financial-economic aspects are not the only ones which are important for the people who live on the farm.

The forced air HAC system is located off the dining area with a single return grille located in a panel of the HAC system closet. The HAC system consists of a 10.6 kW air conditioning unit and a furnace with a power input of 22.6 kW and output of 18.2 kW. The design airflow rate of the furnace fan is 470 L s -1 . A thermostat controls system operation, but the air distribution fan can be operated continuously if desired. There are local exhaust fans in the bathrooms and kitchen and a whole-house exhaust fan in the...

The case-study reports are available upon request from either UNFPA or the WHO Department of Reproductive Health and Research. The report benefited from suggestions and input from all those present at the meeting. The contributions of Abdul Bun Hatib N’Jie (WHO representative, retired), Viviana Mangiaterra (WHO headquarters), Juliana Lunguzi (UNFPA Malawi Country Office) and Ini Huijts (WHO headquarters) as discussants, and input to the discussion from Gifty Addico (UNFPA Sub-Regional Office, Johannesburg, South Africa), were much appreciated.
