Cross section estimation

The study was done to estimate the incidence of malnutrition in children under 5 years old in Tu Ky district, Hai Duong Province in 2023. Subjects and Method. Subjects included 602 children under 5 years old in the study setting. The method was a cross-sectional study.

We conducted this study to estimate the objective financial toxicity and identify the associated factors that contribute to the objective financial toxicity among patients with cancer. To describe prevalence of picky eaters and nutritional status of children aged 1 to 5 and to find out the relationship between picky eating and nutritional status of children. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study. A sample size of 1100 children aged 1 to 5 had been selected and studied by using questionnaire for interviewing parents or caregivers to estimate prevalence of picky eaters; measuring weight, length/height to access nutritional status of children.

Axion production ina Axion production in unpolarized and polarized ye− collision are considered in detail using the Feynman diagram method. The cross-sections are presented and numerical evaluations are given. The results show that the axion can be dark matter of the universe. Properties of axion production in yu− collision are considered in detail using the the Feynman diagram method. The differential cross-sections are presented and numerical evaluations are given. Based on results obtained it was found that the cross sections depend strongly on the polarization factors of u− beams and are much larger than in axion production in ye- collision. In addition, some estimates for experimental conditions are derived from our results.

A correlated sampling technique has been implemented to estimate the impact of cross section modifications on the neutron transport and in Monte Carlo simulations in one single calculation. This implementation has been coupled to a Total Monte Carlo approach which consists in propagating nuclear data uncertainties with random cross section files.

A template for estimating uncertainties (unc.) of measured neutron-induced fission, (n,f), cross-sections (cs) is presented. This preliminary template not only lists all expected unc. sources but also supplies ranges of unc., estimates for correlations between unc. of the same and different experiments which can be used if the information is nonexistent.

In this article, we will first discuss the issues of the prompt g-ray spectroscopy regarding the control of all the uncertainties involved in the (n,n0g) cross section estimation. Secondly, we will focus on the role of theoretical modeling which, in certain cases, is crucial to reach the objectives of a few percent uncertainty on the (n,n0) cross sections.
