The rationale for this study is that the social enterprise sector provides an important locale in which to situate research that aims to identify the impact of ICTs on development. Recognising the complex dynamics and range of actors involved in this diverse and emerging area of development practice, this study chooses to focus on the social enterprise sector. It is specifically concerned with mapping the external influences, use and impact of ICT on social enterprises in Cambodia.

The aim of this study is to develop a perspective on culture which would integrate the views of both opposing camps. By applying the principles of ancient Chinese philosophy, especially the Yin-Yang principle, a balanced, holistic conceptualization was proposed which hold that culture is composed of both a stable and a changing dimension, which dialectically transform into each other to give culture a certain degree of stability and inheritability on the one hand, and a momentum for change and variability on the other, in an ongoing, spiraling process of cultural emergence.

Little effort so far has been devoted to the understanding of the post-transaction performance of Chinese CBMA, and its crucial antecedents and moderating factors.

This thesis researched the influence of ETBs on exporters from developing countries and their corresponding strategies through a case study of the Chinese organic food industry. Initially, a description of international trade and world export was developed, including their roles in the process of globalization. Trade barriers generated in international trade were then explained, with the focus on NTBs, especially ETBs. Lastly, the link between ETBs and market access was described and then the purpose of this study was proposed.

"Wing Chun" is a subtle and complete system of Chinese Kung Fu. Developed over hundreds of years, its roots lie in the Shaolin Temple tradition. Legend has it that in 1645 a Buddhist nun by the name of Ng Moi devised the system and taught it to a young girl called Yim Wing Chun, who successfully used her newly learned skills to defend herself against a local bully who attempted to force himself upon her. Originally a very secret system, the sophisticated art of Wing Chun was only passed on to family members and close, trusted friends.
