Double parabola approximation

In this work we proposed a simple method to determine the coordinate of interface of two-component Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs) in double parabola approximation (DPA). Based on this idea, the static properties of BECs have been investigated totally in DPA.

The Nambu-Goldstone (NG) modes in the system of two segregated Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs) limited by two hard walls are studied by means of the Gross-Pitaevskii (GP) theory. Based on the double-parabola approximation (DPA) combining with the Bogoliubov-de Gennes (BdG) equations we found four NG modes that proves the failure of the Watanabe-Brauner counting rule and, furthermore, their dispersion relations depend explicitly on the geometrical structure.

The location of interface plays a pivotal role in studying on wetting phase transition of Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs) mixture. Beside parameters of system, the position of the interface depends on the applied boundary condition. Using double-parabola approximation (DPA), we consider the dependence of position of interface on parameters in semi-infinite space under Neumann boundary condition.

The forces on a dilute single Bose-Einstein condensate confined between two parallel palates consist of two kinds, namely surface tension force and Casimir force. Within framework of double parabola approximation the surface tension force is investigated. The Casimir force is studied by quantum field theory in one-loop approximation. The total force is also obtained.
