Firstly, identify and measure the influence of the factors on the decision to buy products with environmental friendly packaging in Vietnam. Second, test the difference between gender, age, education level and income on the decision to buy products that are environmentally friendly. Thirdly, help managers understand the factors that influence the decision to buy products that have environmental friendly packaging, and provide the administrator with solutions for reference based on research results in order to help businesses attract customers and expand market size in Vietnam.

EspB is a multifunctional protein associated with the type III secretion system of enterohaemorrhagic Escherichia coli, and interacts with various biomolecules includinga-catenin in the host cell. The binding of EspB to a-catenin is thought be involved in actin reorganization during bacterial infection, although the precise mechanism of this phenomenon is still unclear.

b-Glucosidases such as Zm-p60.1 (Zea mays) and Bgl4:1 (Brassica napus) have implicated roles in regulating plant development by releasing biologi-cally active cytokinins from O-glucosides. A key determinant of substrate specificity in Zm-p60.1 is the F193–F200–W373–F461 cluster. However, despite sharing the same substrates, amino acids in the active sites of Zm-p60.1 and Bgl4:1 differ dramatically.

Ras proteins are small guanine nucleotide binding proteins that regulate many cellular processes, including growth control. They undergo distinct post-translational lipid modifications that are required for appropriate targeting to membranes. This, in turn, is critical for Ras biological func-tion.

It remains a challenge to achieve the stable and long-term expression (in human cell lines) of a previously engineered hybrid enzyme [triple-catalytic (Trip-cat) enzyme-2; Ruan KH, Deng H & So SP (2006) Biochemistry45, 14003–14011], which links cyclo-oxygenase isoform-2 (COX-2) to prostacy-clin (PGI2) synthase (PGIS) for the direct conversion of arachidonic acid into PGI2through the enzyme’s Trip-cat functions.

The purpose of this review is to discuss the effect of natural antioxidant compounds as modulators of the 20Sproteasome, a multi-enzymatic multi-catalytic complex present in the cytoplasm and nucleus of eukaryotic cells and involved in several cellular activities such as cell-cycle progression, pro-liferation and the degradation of oxidized and damaged proteins.

Aggregation of the normal cellular prion protein, PrP, is important in the pathogenesis of prion disease. PrP binds glycosaminoglycan (GAG) and divalent cations, such as Cu 2+ and Zn 2+ . Here, we report our findings that GAG and Cu 2+ promote the aggregation of recombinant human PrP (rPrP).

c-Tubulin belongs to the tubulin superfamily and plays an essential role in the nucleation of cellular microtubules. In the present study, we report the characterization ofc-tubulin from the psychrophilic Antarctic ciliate Eupl-otes focardii. In this organism,c-tubulin is encoded by two genes, c-T1 and c-T2, that produce distinct isotypes.

Vanillyl-alcohol oxidase (VAO; EC 1.1.3.38) contains a covalently 8a-histidyl bound FAD, which represents the most frequently encountered covalent flavin–protein linkage. To elucidate the mechanism by which VAO covalently incorporates the FAD cofactor, apo VAO was produced by using a riboflavin auxotrophicEscherichia colistrain.

Cadmium ions are a potent carcinogen in animals, and cadmium is a toxic metal of significant environmental importance for humans. Response curves were used to investigate the effects of cadmium chloride on the growth of Camplyobacter jejuni. In vitro, the bacterium showed reduced growth in the presence of 0.1 mmcadmium chloride, and the metal ions were lethal at 1 mmconcentration.

2-Oxoglutarate dehydrogenase (OGDH) is the first and rate-limiting com-ponent of the multienzyme OGDH complex (OGDHC) whose malfunction is associated with neurodegeneration. The essential role of this complex in the degradation of glucose and glutamate, which have specific significance in brain, raises questions about the existence of brain-specific OGDHC iso-enzyme(s).
