Firstly, the CS has a contrariwise impact on ROA but no effect on ROE and ROS. Secondly, among control variables (asset structure, expenditure ratio, revenue), the expenditure ratio is the only one showing a contrariwise impact on ROS and the rest has no statistical significance.

The study in this paper utilizes Vietnamese firm-level data to investigate the relationship between trade liberalization and the productivity performance of Vietnam’s manufacturing sector. The data covers the years 2007 to 2016 when substantial trade liberalization took place. The semi-parametric approach developed by Levinsohn and Petrin (2003) is used to control for simultaneity bias in the estimation of a production function and to obtain TFP estimates.

The purpose of this study is to examine if CSR practices have a correlation with companies’ performance of the twenty Vietnamese firms. Despite a large number of studies on CSR with the sole focus on emerging economies, this concept in the specific Vietnamese market has yet to receive apprehension and qualified research. Therefore, this paper provides a quantitative approach to study the relationship between CSR and financial performance of Vietnamese firms in three distinct sectors: banking, real estate and food manufacturing.

This study is carried out to examine the relationship between environmental disclosure and financial performance of companies in the food and beverage industry listed on the Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi stock exchanges, for the period from 2017 to 2021. Using content analysis and General Least Squares, the research reveals that greater environmental disclosure negatively influences the firm’s financial performance.

Previous research suggests that the inconsistent results about the relationship between supplier chain integration and performance are due to incomplete and inappropriate conceptualization of supply chain integration dimensions. Therefore, since the resource-based view has been recognized as the most suitable framework to understand these capabilities, we identify and examine routines bundles that make up them. This paper contributes to expand the organizational routines research and provide theoretical guideline for future research in the supply chain management field.

This thesis adopts an explanatory sequential mixed-approach, incorporating two inter-related studies investigates the resilience capabilities of Hong Kong-based SMEs. Specifically, the overall objective is to empirically examine the multidimensionality of resilience capability, and how each dimension is developed, utilized, and evolved over time and in various contexts. Study 1 involves a survey of 177 Hong Kong-based SMEs and explores the interrelationship between resilience capabilities and firm performance, and the moderating impact of environmental turbulence on these relationships.

The purpose of the thesis "An empirical analysis of firm innovation capability and performance of Indonesian ICT SMEs" is to explore the antecedents of innovation capability and firm performance of ICT SMEs within clusters in Jakarta and Bandung in Indonesia. A causal model was proposed and tested by using Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM). Findings reveal that intellectual capital is a major contributor of innovation capability. Surprisingly, being spatially close in a specific location does not trigger firms to have innovation capability.
