Domestic consumption of nutritional products and food supplements are on the rise. This is due to the fact that consumers have become more affluent and aware of their health. Edible bird’s nest (EBN) is used as a health supplement for medicinal benefits to improve health quality. However, issues such as contamination and counterfeit EBN have caused fluctuation of the product’s price over time and consumers are slowly shunning away from consuming EBN products.

Preserving the integrity of halal food has become increasingly complex since its supply chain undergoes numerous production processes and distribution stages performed by different organisations. The longer the supply chain is, the greater its vulnerability and complexity. Concurrently, the rise in the number of halal food product status revocation indicates their non-compliance with Shariah requirements.

This article substantiates the need to strategize food markets’ development in the region as components of the region's reproduction cycle of food products by using supply chain management. The authors suggest two approaches in terms of this development in the region. Within the framework of the product-territorial approach, strategies have been defined for the development of markets for individual food products in order to activate internal sources of forming product supply.

The prime goals of the current paper investigate the influence of SCM practices on organizational performance with moderating roles of ‘governor’ and ‘collaboration. The organizational performance was measured on the basis of three dimensions such as economic, social and environmental aspects. Data was collected from Thai food manufacturers and was tested visa Measurement Model and Structural Equation modeling. The study highlights influence of sustainable procurement and sustainable distribution or logistics to determine the organizational performance in Thai food industry.

This study investigates the impact of the capabilities of supply chain management on the performance of the food industry in Thailand. Data were collected from the mangers of the supply chain of the firm that are listed in the Department of Industrial Work Thailand by distributing the survey through the mail. PLS-SEM has been used to test the links between the variables under study. The results of the multiple regressions revealed that effective SCM capabilities could increase the performance of the firm.

This study attempts to fill this void by assessing the Islamic values in the halal supply chain of the poultry industry. By using a qualitative approach, data was collected from in-depth interviews of a case study. The case study of poultry supply chain is focused on the initial stage of supply chain i.e. farm. Therefore, this study found six Islamic values which exist in the halal supply chain.
