Because of this, countries are starting to focus more on protecting the environment and finding ways to grow their economies in a “green” and sustainable way. As one of these countries, Vietnam is using special bonds called green bonds to help fund projects that protect the environment. This is a critical effective tool for mobilizing capital to attract investment capital from domestic and foreign investors for sustainable environmental protection projects in Vietnam.

  • The goal of the study is to determine ASEAN’s economic cooperation process and opportunities for Vietnamese businesses to invest in the ASEAN economic community in the period 1991 to 2020, and a vision to 2025-2030.   • The objective of the study is to assess the impact of FDI on renewable energy use in Vietnam. Research results confirm that FDI projects with low technology and high energy consumption do not have a good impact on the economy in general and the use of renewable energy in particular. The study also confirms that economic growth and the development of financial markets have a very positive impact on renewable energy consumption. Finally, the study also suggests some policy implications for Vietnam in the case of increasing renewable energy use and sustainable development in the future.
