In this study, we explore reseach methodologi, industry and the aspect of uncertainty. We make an analysis uncertainty for the topic, approach, model formulation and make comparison of uncertainty reseach area. The most used approach and method on uncertainty are Mixed Integer Linear Programing, mixed integer nonlinear Programing, Robust Fuzzy Stochastic Programming, and Improved kriging-assisted robust optimization method. Customer demand, total cost, product returns are the most widely researched aspects.

In this paper, we consider some Multi-choice linear programming (MCLP) problems where the alternative values of the multi-choice parameters are fuzzy numbers. There are some real-life situations where we need to choose a value for a parameter from a set of different choices to optimize our objective, and those values of the parameters can be imprecise or fuzzy. We formulate these situations as a mathematical model by using some fuzzy numbers for the alternatives.

In this paper, we consider a multi-objective two person zero-sum matrix game with fuzzy goals, assuming that each player has a fuzzy goal for each of the payoffs. The max-min solution is formulated for this multi-objective game model, in which the optimization problem for each player is a linear programming problem. Every developed model for each player is demonstrated through a numerical example.

This paper deals with multiobjective bi-level linear programming problems under fuzzy environment. In the proposed method, tentative solutions are obtained and evaluated by using the partial information on preference of the decision-makers at each level. In our earlier articles, we proposed two methods for solving the fully fuzzified linear fractional programming (FFLFP) problems. In this paper, we introduce a different approach of evaluating fuzzy inequalities between two triangular fuzzy numbers and solving FFLFP problems. First, using the Charnes-Cooper method, we transform the linear fractional programming problem into a linear one. Second, the problem of maximizing a function with triangular fuzzy value is transformed into a problem of deterministic multiple objective linear programming.

In this paper we shall propose an algorithm for solving fuzzy linear programming problems with trapezoidal numbers using a penalty method. We will transform the problem of maximizing a function having trapezoidal fuzzy number values under some constraints into a deterministic multi-objective programming problem by penalizing the objective function for possible constraint violation.

In this paper, a multi-item inventory model with space constraint is developed in both crisp and fuzzy environment. A profit maximization inventory model is proposed here to determine the optimal values of demands and order levels of a product. Selling price and unit price are assumed to be demand-dependent and holding and set-up costs sock dependent. Total profit and warehouse space are considered to be vague and imprecise. The impreciseness in the above objective and constraint goals has been expressed by fuzzy linear membership functions.

In this work, we introduce the TESLACELAB metric (Translation Evaluation of Sentences with Linear-programming-based Analysis – Character-level Evaluation for Languages with Ambiguous word Boundaries) for automatic machine translation evaluation. For languages such as Chinese where words usually have meaningful internal structure and word boundaries are often fuzzy, TESLA-CELAB acknowledges the advantage of character-level evaluation over word-level evaluation.
