The pulse is widely used as a protein source and fodder crop. The area covered and production is low due to different factors i.e. unavailability of nutrient rich soil, lack of quality seeds, unsuitable climatic factors, traditional cultivation practices, improper weed management, poor postharvest management etc.

The present study was undertaken during Krishi Mahotsav programme to find out the reasons for less adoption of improved gram production technology among the farmers of Rehli block of bundelkhand region during the year 2014 and 2015. It is found that majority of the respondents (59.90%) had medium level of adoption, followed by those having low (24.56%) and high (15.54%) levels of adoption for the improved practices of chickpea cultivation. Results revealed that there were number of reasons for low adoption of improved chikpea production technology.

Mid Western Development Region (MWDR), a part of Nepali Himalayas, the globally significant and biologically diverse ecosystems, is remarkably rich in medicinal and aromatic plants, and other non-timber forest products (NTFPs). In this paper, certain system of linear homogeneous differential equations of second-order is considered. By using integral inequalities, some new criteria for bounded and L2 ½0;1Þ-solutions, upper bounds for values of improper integrals of the solutions and their derivatives are established to the considered system. The obtained results in this paper are considered as extension to the results obtained by Kroopnick (2014) [1]. An example is given to illustrate the obtained results.
