  • In this research, ‘loyalty’ means customer perception about the brand and repurchase intention from Aarong. Independent Variables (factors) were chosen after interviewing customers with buying experience from Aarong, and previous studies on fashion industry. A non-probability judgmental sampling methodology was followed for primary data collection and 301 completed sample responses were collected. Descriptive statistics were conducted to describe the demographic information of the respondents; twelve factors were tested to find out their influence on customer loyalty toward Aarong.

  • Genome-wide association studies (GWAS) of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) have identified several risk loci, but many remain unknown. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarkers may aid in gene discovery and we previously demonstrated that six CSF biomarkers (β-amyloid, total/phosphorylated tau, NfL, YKL-40, and neurogranin) cluster into fve principal components (PC), each representing statistically independent biological processes.

  • Hypertension is a complex trait that often co-occurs with other conditions such as obesity and is affected by genetic and environmental factors. Aggregate indices such as principal components among these variables and their responses to environmental interventions may represent novel information that is potentially useful for genetic studies.

  • One of the fundamental problems in time course gene expression data analysis is to identify genes associated with a biological process or a particular stimulus of interest, like a treatment or virus infection. Most of the existing methods for this problem are designed for data with longitudinal replicates. But in reality, many time course gene experiments have no replicates or only have a small number of independent replicates.

  • This paper proposes a new method for measuring the dependency between securities. Applying independent component analysis to the return data of the whole component securities in a universe, independent factors composing the returns are extracted. Reconstructing return data of individual component security based on such factors, wend that each security has a unique factor hierarchy

  • Gender Empowerment has been a highly focused area over three decades to empower women so that they can be made free from the mettle of exploitation, deprivation, and social impoverishment. The study was conducted in Haringhata Block under Nadia district of West Bengal. Both purposive as well as simple random sampling was adopted for selection of 100 respondents in five mouzas of the selected block. The present study envisages two components viz. livelihood and income generation as to have conceptual and operational contribution in empowering women adequately and workably.

  • Tomato leaf curl virus (ToLCV) has become a major threat of Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) production in the world including tropical and subtropical tomato growing regions due to its the endemic presence. The aim of this study is to develop a forewarning strategy for the farmers. The components included in the experiment were, a susceptible tomato variety “Patharkuchi” planted at 15 days interval starting from16th August to 29th December during both the experimental year 2012-13 and 2013-14 under field condition.

  • Multivariate Curve Resolution with Alternating Least Squares (MCR-ALS) is a curve resolution method based on a bilinear model which assumes that the observed spectra are a linear combination of the spectra of the pure components in the system. The algorithm steps include the determination of the number of components by rank analysis methods, initial estimates for the concentrations and/or spectra and an iterative optimization. Sometimes, suitable results may not be achieved when MCR-ALS is applied. One reason for this is the importance of the initial estimates of the spectral profiles.

  • not be aptly summarized in a single review. Here, we focus on one aspect of diversity (phylogenetic diversity) in one microbial domain (the Bacteria). We restrict our analysis to the highest taxonomic rank (phylum) and attempt to investigate the extent of global phylum level diversity within the Bacteria. Microbial ecology is the study of microbes in the natural environment and their interactions with each other. Investigating the nature of microorganisms residing within a specific habitat is an extremely important component of microbial ecology.

  • In this paper, a new realization of the fractional capacitor (FC) using passive symmetric networks is proposed. A general analysis of the symmetric network that is independent of the internal impedance composition is introduced. Three different internal impedances are utilized in the network to realize the required response of the FC. These three cases are based on either a series RC circuit, integer Coleimpedance circuit, or both. The network size and the values of the passive elements are optimized using the minimax and least mth optimization techniques.

  • In this paper we describe a framework for research into translation that draws on a combination of two existing and independently constructed technologies: an analysis component developed for German by the EUROTRA-D (ET-D) group of IAI and the generation component developed for English by the Penman group at ISI. We present some of the linguistic implications of the research and the promise it bears for furthering understanding of the translation process.

  • Two ORFs, cphA and cphB, encoding proteins CphA and CphB with strong similarities to plant phytochromes and to the cyanobacterial phytochrome Cph1 of Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803 have been identified in the filamentous cyanobacterium Calothrix sp. PCC7601. While CphA carries a cysteine within a highly conserved amino-acid sequence motif, to which the chromophore phytochromobilin is covalently bound in plant phytochromes, in CphB this position is changed into a leucine.
