The finding of this research will indicate the factors affecting the readiness of the organizations to adopt IoT and the best practice for the implementation of IoT for the last-mile of a parcel delivery service in Malaysia will be proposed. This research is carried out by making use of qualitative methods with a number of courier companies in Malaysia as case studies.

The Asian region as an economic powerhouse gains more importance every year: the population is becoming more affluent and the role of its markets is increasing on a global scale. This article analyzes the level of economic development of Asian countries. To determine the said level, the corresponding indicators were used, among them, GDP and GDP per capita, exports and imports, key partners in trade relations, the Economic Complexity Index, and the Logistics Performance Index.

The paper presents the improved function of transforming the assessment criteria values and the formula of value calibration. The advantages of this function are flexibility and taking account the regular tendencies of changes in the criteria values. The level of enterprise performance is determined by an integrated index obtained as partial desirability functions folding by gmean. Global competition has intensified geographic repositioning of supply chain activities with implications for the economic prosperity of specific regions and geographies affected by such shifts. This study examines the relationship between the level of corruption and economic growth using the supply chain and ARDL bounds test method. The data used are GDP, the level of corruption, foreign direct investment, government spending and inflation from 2000-2018. The results of the study indicate a negative and significant impact on the level of corruption on economic growth in the long run.

The aim of study "Measuring the nature of East Asia’s automobile production networks" is to explore the nature of East Asia’s automobile production networks by means of social-network methods. In this paper, we have also developed a domination degree index (DDI) and domination intensity index (DII) to measure the dominating power of each East Asian country in the automobile networks. The results suggested that the networks of East Asia’s automobile industry are expanding over time both in terms of the number of links in the network as well as the strength of those links.

The study "Retail trade as an agenda-setting factor for the strategic management of supply chains" discusses the impact of effective supply chain management on retail volumes. The features of the logistics development in the Russian Federation are considered.
