The motion equation of a one-degree-of-freedom system when subjected to earthquakes is usually not solved by analytic methods. This problem can only be solved through the time step method, when integrating differential equations. This paper is devoted to presenting a numerical solution for a seismic analysis problem of a highway bridge pier with high damping rubber bearings under earthquakes.

This research develops a rich theoretical and empirical understanding of embeddedness by way of three dimensions (structural, relational and cultural), and investigates its implications for actors’ value co-creation behaviours and value-in-context outcomes. In addition, the research refines co-creation perspectives by examining a central boundary condition of co-creation processes. The data was collected in an online service environment and was analysed using structural equation modelling techniques.

Trade and world economic integration are seen as the impetus for accelerating the well-beings of the domestic Vietnamese communities and international community in the region. However, an understanding of the link between trade and economic integration from the perspective of Vietnam is missing. Empirical studies on Vietnamese trade are in lack to address these determinants (see, Le, 1996; Nguyen, 2010). This thesis identifies the key factors that have driven the impressive growth of Vietnamese exports during the world economic integration process (1986-2010).

Soil erosion is a naturally occurring process in mountainous areas that affects all landforms. Located in Central of Vietnam, in the tropical monsoon climate Da Nang City is characterized by more than 70 percentage of area with hilly and mountainous topography. This study is objective apply the Universal Soil Loss Equation (ULSE) model developed by Wischmeier and Smith (1978) integrating with remote sensing data and Geographical Information System (GIS) tool to evaluate soil erosion risk in Da Nang City, Vietnam.

Research aims: This thesis is concerned with the stability of some classes of nonlinear time-delay systems in neural networks. Investigating the problem of stability of non-autonomous neural networks with heterogeneous time-varying delays in the effect of destablizing impulses. Stabilizing Hopfiled neural networks with proposition delays subject to stabilizing and destablizing impulsive effects simultaneously.

Purpose: Study the existence of inertial manifolds and the asymptotic behavior of solutions to certain classes of evolution equations in an infinite-dimensional Banach space. The evolution equations considered with the linear parts is the generator of a semigroup and the Lipschitz coefficient of the nonlinear term may depend on time and belongs to admissible function spaces which contain wide classes of function spaces like Lp-spaces, the Lorentz spaces Lp,q and many other function spaces occurring in interpolation theory.

Convolutions with a class of weight function for the Fourier cosine integral transform in the spaces Lp a,B(R) are studied. Existence conditions for these convolutions, a Young’s type theorem and a Parseval type equality are obtained. Applications to solve a class of the integral equations and systems of integral equations with function coefficiences are considered.

In this paper, we study four cases of the Toeplitz plus Hankel integro - differential equations and general integro - differential equation. These equations can be solved in closed form using new convolutions and well-known convolutions. The obtained results were the expansions of these equation types.

In this paper, we present a result on Hyers-Ulam stability for a class of nonlocal differential equations in Hilbert spaces by using the theory of integral equations with completely positive kernels together with a new Gronwall inequality type. The paper develops some recent results on fractional differential equations to the ones involving general nonlocal derivatives. Instead of Mittag-Leffler functions, we must utilize the characterization of relaxation function.

In this paper, we will extend the result of Farina to the general case a0 and look for the effect of the degeneracy on the range of the exponent p on Liouville-type theorem. It seems that the presence of the weight term |x|a makes the problem more challenging. The main difficulty is that the Grushin operator is nonautonomous. This requires suitable scaled test functions in the integral estimate.

This paper presents a Bayesian approach based on integral experiments to create correlations between different isotopes which do not appear with differential data. A simple Bayesian set of equations is presented with random nuclear data, similarly to the usual methods applied with differential data.
