  • The study aims at identifying the contribution of media management accounting in rationalizing credit and making investment decisions. Results of the study indicate that management accounting contributes in rationalizing credit and investment decisions and its stages represented by planning, negotiating, completion and integration, identification and estimation of the merge- related results. The study recommends the need for further attention to the role of management accounting and its tools.

  • The purpose of this paper is simulating the crack propagation in steel structures with isogeometry analysis (IGA). In this method, CAD model is integrated into the CAE model by using non uniform rational B-Splines (NURBS) function. Crack propagation in isotroptic linear elastic material will be presented.

  • The purpose of this chapter is largely to serve as an accessible introduction or a refresher of basic notions regarding analytic functions. We start by recalling the elementary theory of functions and their singularities in a style tuned to the needs of analytic combinatorics. Cauchy’s integral formula expresses coefficients of analytic functions as contour integrals. Suitable uses of Cauchy’s integral formula then make it possible to estimate such coefficients by suitably selecting an appropriate contour of integration.

  • Many organizations face a continually changing set of pressures and dynamics in the current economic climate. Faced with shrinking markets, they can choose to rationalize, merge or contract. The technology thread which holds systems and processes together is at risk. As a consequence, IT Internal Audit plays an integral role in maintaining discipline and rigor across functions and geographies.

  • The selection of neo-institutional theory as theoretical lens for the dissertation rests on several arguments. 3 First, the theory bears significant potential to generate fresh insights into the strategy formation process (Mintzberg and Lampel, 1999; Hensmans, 2003). Second, it con- ceptualizes very well the environment, its actors, its creation, and its internal functioning (Scott, 2001).

  • Let X be a projective manifold and f : X → X a rational mapping with large topological degree, dt λk−1 (f ) := the (k − 1)th dynamical degree of f . We give an elementary construction of a probability measure µf such that d−n (f n )∗ Θ → µf for every smooth probability measure Θ on X. We show t that every quasiplurisubharmonic function is µf -integrable. In particular µf does not charge either points of indeterminacy or pluripolar sets, hence µf is f -invariant with constant jacobian f ∗ µf = dt µf...

  • Spatial or territorial organization is one of effective tools for sustainable land use. Spatial organization of land use and environmental protection by functional sub-areas is performed on the basis of comprehensive and integrated research on characteristics and differentiation laws of natural components and landscapes, socio-economic factors, the present status and trend of environmental changes as well as the structures and functions of sub-areas. Uong Bi is a national center for tourism, coal mining and thermal power production.

  • This is the seventh book containing examples from the Theory of Complex Functions. In this volume we shall apply the calculations or residues in computing special types of trigonometric integrals, some types of improper integrals, including the computation of Cauchy’s principal value of an integral, and the sum of some types of series. We shall of course assume some knowledge of the previous books and the corresponding theory.

  • The advent of X-ray diffraction in the early twentieth century transformed crystallography from an area of scientific inquiry largely limited to physics, mineralogy, and mathematics, to a highly interdisciplinary field which now includes nearly all life and physical sciences as well as materials science and engineering.

  • In 1991, David Gale and Raphael Robinson, building on explorations carried out by Michael Somos in the 1980s, introduced a three-parameter family of rational recurrence relations, each of which (with suitable initial conditions) appeared to give rise to a sequence of integers, even though a priori the recurrence might produce non-integral rational numbers. Throughout the '90s, proofs of integrality were known only for individual special cases. In the early '00s, Sergey Fomin and Andrei Zelevinsky proved Gale and Robinson's integrality conjecture.
