Interleaved coded modulation module

Bài viết đề xuất một xáo bộ trộn bít (gọi là New-block) sử dụng trong hệ thống BICM-ID (Bit-Interleaved Coded Modulation with Iterative Decoding) trên kênh pha đinh Rayleigh. Nó mang lại cho hệ thống giá trị hiệu suất BER (Tỷ lệ lỗi bit) xấp xỉ với bộ xáo trộn bít giả ngẫu nhiên ở vùng sàn lỗi, nhưng có phần cứng đơn giản hơn.

DVB-T2 (Digital Video Broadcasting – Second Generation Terrestrial) is the extension of the television standard DVB-T. This system transmits compressed digital audio, video, and other data in PLPs (physical layer pipes), using OFDM modulation with channel coding and interleaving. This paper provides the performance evaluation of DVB-T2 for outdoor reception by the received signal measurement.

This paper describes the main features of the DVBNGH Bit-Interleaved Coded Modulation (BICM) module. This latter is derived from a sub-set of DVB-T2 BICM components with additional features intended to first lower receiver complexity and power consumption and then to increase receiver robustness over mobile reception. Therefore, the long code block size was removed, a different range of coding rates was chosen, non-uniform constellations were adopted in order to provide shaping gain, and the principle of signal space diversity was extended to four-dimensional rotated constellations.

Sơ đồ điều chế mã có xáo trộn bit (BICM: Bit Interleaved Code Modulation) và Sơ đồ điều chế mã có xáo trộn bit kết hợp với giải mã lặp: BICM-ID (Bit Interleaved Coded Modulation with Iterative Decoding) đã được đề cập nhiều trên các tạp chí có uy tín. Truyền dẫn ghép kênh phân chia theo tần số trực giao (OFDM - Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) là kỹ thuật cho phép tăng tốc độ truyền dẫn và chống fading rất tốt nên việc kết hợp giữa sơ đồ BICM-ID với OFDM được đánh giá là có tiềm năng. Tuy nhiên trong chuẩn 802.11 chưa áp dụng sơ đồ điều chế này.

The properties of Convolutional codes. We introduced interleaving as a means to combat bursty errors by making the channel seem uncorrelated. We also studied “Concatenated codes” that simply consist of inner and outer codes. They can provide the required performance at a lower complexity.

Space-Time Trellis Coding versus Adaptive Modulation In [515] the encoding and decoding processes as well as the various design trade-offs of space-time block codes [7,2 18,5 were reviewed. More explicitly, various previously pro161 posed space-time block codes [218,5 161 have been discussed and their performance was investigated over perfectly interleaved, non-dispersive Rayleigh fading channels. A range of systems consisting of space-time block codes and different channel codecs were investigated.
