The selection of suitable material for manufacturing wheel rim is essential to address the issue of weight reduction while ensuring the load-bearing capacity of the wheel rims during vehicle movement on the road. In this study, the research team designed a 3D model of the wheel rim using Solidworks software.

A new electromechanical press for fuel pellet manufacturing was built last year in partnership between CEA-Marcoule and ChampalleAlcen.
