On-time measles vaccination is essential for preventing measles infection among children as early in life as possible, especially in areas where measles outbreaks occur frequently. Characterizing the timing of routine measles vaccination (MCV1) among children and identifying risk factors for delayed measles vaccination is important for addressing barriers to recommended childhood vaccination and increasing on-time MCV1 coverage.

Childhood vaccinations are a vital preventive measure to reduce disease incidence and deaths among children. As a result, immunisation coverage against measles was a key indicator for monitoring the fourth Millennium Development Goal (MDG), aimed at reducing child mortality.

In pediatric sarcomas, outcomes of established therapies still remain poor, especially due to highgrade resistances to chemotherapeutic compounds. Taking novel biological approaches into account, virotherapy was found to be efficient in many pediatric sarcoma types.

Measles, an acute viral illness caused by a virus belonging to the family Paramyxoviridae, is a vaccine-preventable disease. Children’s between 9 months and 12 years of age are mostly affected and presents with fever and maculopapularrash. Despite the national immunization program, measles virus infection is common in India. Objectives of the study are 1. To study the suspected cases of measles virus infection with high fever and characteristic rashes, among children. 2. To detect antibody levels against measles virus by ELISA IgM and IgG.

The World Health Organization recommends high-dose vitamin A supplementation (VAS) for children above six months of age in low-income countries. VAS has been associated with up-regulation of the Th2 response. We aimed to determine if VAS is associated with atopy in childhood.

In China, the measles vaccine is offered for free whereas the pneumococcal vaccine is a for-fee vaccine. This difference has the potential to influence how caregivers evaluate whether a vaccine is important or necessary for their child, but it is unclear if models of health behavior, such as the Health Belief Model, reveal the same associations for different diseases.

Measles is a highly contagious vaccine-preventable disease caused by the Morbilivirus. Measles vaccine was introduced in India in 1985 as a part of Universal Immunization Programme (UIP) which was given at 9 completed months of age. As vaccine coverage has increased, there has been a marked reduction in measles incidence in the pediatric age group; but at the same time, the average age, at which measles infection occurs, has significantly increased.
