  • The dynamic analysis is a necessity in the design, manufacturing and maintenance of structures. The analytic solutions are not available for most practical cases and the Finite Element Method (FEM) is not reliable due to the joint problem, unclear loading, material properties and numerical error. In this paper, we present a way to find modes shape of 3D Frame by FEM program using Matlab.

  • This research examines how parametric loudspeakers may be considered unique acousmatic musical instruments; how the parametric acoustic array (PAA) can potentially make new forms of music and listening experiences; and how PAA-design problems can be overcome. Interdisciplinary in nature, the study uses grounded theory and experimental music practice within a design research methodology. Theory emerges from data, in concert with analysis and framing that draws on areas such as electroacoustic music, spatial composition, acoustics, PAA science/theory, modulation theory, and medium theory.

  • This study develops a probabilistic data-driven approach using the Multiple Layer Perceptron network coupled with the Dropout mechanism to perform the pushover analysis of reinforced concrete (RC) frame structures, predicting base shear, lateral displacement, as well as their relationship between the two formers. Moreover, corresponding confidence intervals of predicted values are also available owing to the probabilistic nature of the method, thus helping engineers design conservative solutions.

  • In this paper, dynamic stiffness model of a cracked frame structure that represents a planar tower crane is established in an explicit form based on general solution of cracked 2Dbeam element vibration. The crack is modeled by a pair of equivalent springs of stiffness calculated from the crack depth. An explicit form of frequency equation is first established and then solved for numerical sensitivity analysis of natural frequencies of the structure to cracks. An experimental study is accomplished to validate the theoretical development.

  • Water retention ability of leave tissues of twenty five local upland rice cultivars (Oryza Sativa L.) was defined through the amount of water loss through different time frames. The results showed that the amount of water loss of leaf tissues of twenty five local upland rice cultivars through times: one hour, two hours, three hours, four hours, five hours and six hours had increased.

  • Trichoderma spp. are tolerant and compatible with fungicides, biofertilizers and other bio pesticides. Integrating fungicide resistant antagonists with suitable fungicide treatment has importance in the frame work of integrated disease management. Incorporation of natural products provides a viable solution to the environmental problems caused by synthetic pesticides. Identification of these compounds and their further testing may be an effective approach to minimize the use of hazardous chemicals

  • An experiment was framed to study the variability, nature of gene action and number of genes controlling the characters in bacterial blight and blast resistance genes introgressed three backcross population in rice. Mean variation was high for number of grains and plant height for all the crosses. The characters like plant height, number of productive tillers and number of grains were showed complementary gene interaction for all back cross population. While for thousand grain weight and single plant yield were explained complementary gene interactions in two backcross populations.

  • Biopesticides have attracted attention in pest management in recent decades, and have long been promoted as prospective alternatives to synthetic pesticides. Biopesticides are natural and good alternative sources of synthetic pesticides. In India, all pesticides, including biopesticides, are regulated under the Insecticides Act, 1968, and the rules framed under it. The act regulates the import, manufacture, transport, sale, distribution, and use of pesticides with a view to prevent any risk to human beings and animals.

  • Genetic variability and diversity play a major role in framing successful breeding programme. It is evident that genetically diverse parents are likely to produce high heterotic effects and yield desirable transgressive segregants. Keeping this in view, the present study was conducted to evaluate nature and extent of genetic variability and diversity in Indian mustard [Brassica juncea (L.) Czern. & Coss.].

  • The main aim of this review study was to know the effects by aflatoxin of mycotoxin fungal diseases for the health hazards of silkworm Bombyx mori and series of events that led to the discovery of aflatoxin as a potent carcinogen. Aflatoxins B1, B2, G1 & G2 may be referred as the toxic and produced by the Aspergillus fungal diseases, among all the Aflatoxins, B1 and G1 are highly toxic to the silkworm, which is carcinogenic in nature and can be occurred immediately higher incidence in bivoltine silkworms than in multivoltine and cross breed.
