This innovative study aims to explore how emotion tone presented in a message influences the judgement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) bots. We established a scenario by using vacation rental introduction as input message to conduct experiments to explore the influences. Our findings suggest that AI bots demonstrate preferences on the input message presented in positive tones rather than input message with negative tones.

Paratesticular leiomyosarcoma (LMS) is a rare tumor. Conventionally, tumor resection by high inguinal orchiectomy is performed as the preferred treatment approach for paratesticular sarcoma. On the other hand, testis-sparing surgery has recently attracted attention as a less-invasive treatment option for paratesticular sarcoma.

Presence of diverse weed flora during critical period of crop-weed competition, is one of the major obstacles in conservation agriculture that reduces which can reduce the crop yield appreciably significantly. During critical period of crop-weed competition, chemical method of weed control is by far the most preferred way to minimize the weed infestation of weeds, farmers are mostly relying on chemical methods of weed management.

Nitrogen is the key nutrient factor that influences soil fertility and productivity. It is the mineral nutrient that exists in different forms, but nitrate form is the most preferred form by plants. Irrespective of the form in which N is applied to soil, it undergoes transformation viz. mineralization (ammonification, nitrification), denitrification etc. by enzymes produced by micro organisms.

Primary surgery is usually the mainstay treatment in early-stage oropharyngeal and oral cavity cancer. Typically, neck surgery is performed. Negative tumor margins are recommended (> 5 mm). If feasible, re-resection of any positive margin is preferred. Otherwise, postoperative radiotherapy is required.

Cancer cells require increased levels of nutrients such as amino acids to sustain their rapid growth. In particular, leucine and glutamine have been shown to be important for growth and proliferation of some breast cancers, and therefore targeting the primary cell-surface transporters that mediate their uptake, L-type amino acid transporter 1 (LAT1) and alanine, serine, cysteine-preferring transporter 2 (ASCT2), is a potential therapeutic strategy.

Animal sentience and welfare needs utmost importance as animal sentience is the capacity to feel pleasure and pain whereas, welfare would be intimately connected with the physiological stress response and it would simply be a matter of finding a reliable indicator of stress. Sentient animals are aware of their feelings and emotions. Animals also enjoy positive and negative emotions from carrying out natural behaviour. These could be negative feelings such as pain, frustration and fear.

Many corporate finance authors argue that market-based systems should be preferred in countries with high risk tolerance, because high risk offers higher return. However, few authors have empirically examined the relationship between entrepreneurs’ culture and companies’ financial decisions. In addition, most of these authors have focused their studies on the national culture rather than the culture of the individual entrepreneurs. This study aims to analyze the effect of the entrepreneurs’ cultural beliefs on financial choices, more specifically on the bank indebtedness of the company.

CEO equity-based compensation is designed to reduce the agency problem between top management and shareholders, which should have direct consequences on firm’s capital structure decisions as evidenced by the behaviors of new security issuances. This research paper focuses on the impact on the propensity of issuing new securities by two common CEO equity-based compensations – option compensation and restricted stock compensation.

This paper documents the negative relation between credit line and stock price crash risk in a weak-efficiency and bank dominated environment like China. Using data from china’s A-share listed firms, we find a significant negative relationship exists between credit line and stock price crash risk. The underlying mechanism analysis demonstrates that the bank monitoring of management, major shareholder’s tunneling activities, and financial constraints are the underlying mechanism.

In this paper, a coefficient of preference is presented as an effort to rank object more efficiently than average or other methods for ranking, especially in the meaning of preference. Preference is essential for humankind for decision making. One of the measures is Coefficients of Preference in Ranking (CPR) as shown.

We use heterogeneity in the timing of television’s introduction to different local markets to identify the effect of preschool television exposure on standardized test scores during adolescence. Our preferred point estimate indicates that an additional year of preschool television exposure raises average adolescent test scores by about 0.02 standard deviations. We are able to reject negative effects larger than about 0.03 standard deviations per year of television exposure.

We find strong evidence against the view that childhood tele- vision viewing harms the cognitive or educational development of preschoolers. Our preferred point estimate indicates that an additional year of preschool television exposure raises average adolescent test scores by about 0.02 standard deviations. We are able to reject negative effects larger than about 0.03 standard deviations per year of television exposure.

Regarding the results of the three studies, we shall consider only the contrasts performed between the conditions of positively and negatively valued stimuli. Kawabata and Zeki (2004) and Vartanian and Goel (2004) obtained interesting results when comparing brain activity before different categories of stimuli, such as abstract vs representational, but such issues will not be commented on here, given that this review is primarily concerned with the neural basis of general aesthetic preference.

The survey results indicate that the majority of students in almost all of the scenarios preferred the modern electronic soundtrack. Furthermore, in each case, regardless of whether a majority was reached, the positive response to this music outweighed the negative response. Focus group comments for the Caligari screening, for example, noted that the DJ Spooky music was “more effective” and allowed for a “better experience” for students.

Glutamate dehydrogenase (EC 1.4.1.2–4) fromPeptostreptococcus asacch-arolyticushas a strong preference for NADH over NADPH as a coenzyme, over 1000-fold in terms ofkcat ⁄Kmvalues. Sequence alignments across the wider family of NAD(P)-dependent dehydrogenases might suggest that this preference is mainly due to a negatively charged glutamate at position 243 (E243) in the adenine ribose-binding pocket.

Attitudes and preferences are considered to be an important element of financial literacy. If people have a rather negative attitude towards saving for their future, for example, it is argued that they will be less inclined to undertake such behaviour. Similarly, if they prefer to prioritise short-term wants then they are unlikely to provide themselves with emergency savings or to make longer term financial plans. The financial literacy survey includes three attitude statements to gauge respondents’ attitudes towards money and planning for the future 3 .

A key consideration for policymakers, then, is whether the trade-off between efficiency and financial stability argues for policies that reflect a preference for certain cross-border banking structures. This paper examines the relative advantages and disadvantages of different organizational structures for cross-border banking groups both from the point of view of the financial groups and of the home/host authorities.

Instrumental variables techniques are required to solve the possible endogeneity of household consumption. The most difficult task is to find a valid instrument for the regression above. The literature on demand systems typically uses income to instrument consumption. If preferences are separable between consumption and leisure, total consumption but not income is relevant to decide on the good shares. However, there are several reasons why household income might not be a valid instrument.
