In this paper, using numerical simulation combined with experiment, the detonation time of the explosive train of the electronic time fuze from the signal source to the fuze booster has been determined. The results show that the influence of the transmission line and the connector on the detonation train time is very small, this influence in the design can be ignored.

This article presents two methods to determine pressing forces to the M1 copper plate. The first approach employs the upper-bound method, and the second method combines numerical simulation with a central composite design. The upper-bound method uses physical analysis to determine the deformation zone and establish the division of the rigid block model. The findings were identical to the slip-line solution method.

In this study, we propose to build an equivalent 2D model to replace the 3D model of corrugated composite sheets, by the method of homogenization, to study the nonlinear mechanical behavior of corrugated core composite sheets. This model helps to significantly reduce the calculation time as well as the model building time. The model homogeneity is confirmed by comparing the numerical simulation results of the 2D model and the 3D model.

The present paper aims to show the numerical results of an incompressible fluid flow in curved pipes for three-dimensional space using the fluid-structure interaction (FSI) model. A tetrahedral element is employed to discretize the Navier-Stokes equation for a fluid part and the elastic model for the solid domain.

In work "Discretization error and uncertainty in numerical simulation of a laminar flow in a 1:3 sudden expansion channel", we aim to estimate the spatial discretization errors and uncertainties of a simple simulation, that is, steady laminar flow in a 1:3 sudden expansion channel. Richardson extrapolation and safety factor approach will be employed.

This paper describes an investigation of fluid flow through two tandem circular cylinders using Lattice-Boltzmann Method in direct numerical simulation. The diameter ratio of two circular cylinders, D1/D2 varies from 0.5 to 1.5, and spacing ratio (L/D2) varies from 1.5 to 10, whereas the Reynolds number of 100 is considered. The numerical model is well validated by comparing the results with those obtained in the literature.

This paper utilizes numerical simulations to explore the influence of flow characteristics, fluid properties, and geometric parameters of the contraction microchannel on the velocity of droplets while they are in a stable state. The findings indicate that the droplet velocity is influenced by factors such as viscosity ratio (λ), capillary number (Ca), and contraction ratio (C).

The article presents numerical simulation results for tunnel collapse prediction using the Disctinct Element Method (DEM). The results of the study show that the use of DEM enables simulation of the collapse mechanism and prediction of its potential collapse extent in underground tunnel construction. Based on the simulation results, suitable measures to prevent a possible collapse could be proposed and planned.
