This paper is about a new microstructure design that uses a Laser Diode (LD) light source for Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs). It shows an important step forward in display technology. Regular Thin-Film Transistor LCDs often have efficiency problems because of multilayer optical films, causing loss of light and reduced performance.

This study compared results of online circular contrast perimetry (OCCP) versus standard automated perimetry (SAP) in clinic, as well as clinic OCCP versus home OCCP in a normal Asian population. Healthy participants underwent a comprehensive ocular examination, retinal nerve fiber layer optical coherence tomography scan, and visual field tests performed in clinic, using OCCP and SAP.
