The article aims to develop a machine-learning algorithm that can predict student’s graduation in the Industrial Engineering course at the Federal University of Amazonas based on their performance data. The methodology makes use of an information package of 364 students with an admission period between 2007 and 2019, considering characteristics that can affect directly or indirectly in the graduation of each one.

Rooted from ATAR model, this study aims to examine the effect of halal product accessibility and availability on halal awareness of packaged food products in Malaysia and Thailand consumers. In addition, halal awareness also proposed to influence intention to purchase halal packaged food products. The study among 760 consumers in Malaysia and Thailand revealed that accessibility enhanced halal awareness for Muslim-dominant country whereby availability plays a crucial role in explaining halal awareness for non-Muslimdominant country.

The present investigation was undertaken with the objective to study correlation and path coefficient analysis for yield contributing traits and grain zinc concentration in 30 biofortified inbred lines of maize (Zea mays L.). Trials were conducted during kharif 2017 at Agricultural Research farm, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, BHU in Randomized Block Design with three replications. Each entry was planted in row-to-row and plant-to-plant spacing of 60 cm x 20 cm. All the recommended packages of practices were followed to raise a good crop.

The problem of the study is the usage of antibiotics to food producing animals for treatment, prophylaxis and as growth promoters results in deposition of their residues in various organs and tissues. The study applied the PRECIS and SWAN modelling packages to simulate wind and wave regimes under climate change in the Vietnam East Sea. The results indicated that under RCP4.5 climate change scenario, by the end of the century, there are significant changes in both wave height and wave period in summer and winter months. In the East Sea during July, wave height is expected to increase 11.5% while wave period expected to increases 3.3%. On the other hand, wave height in January is projected to decrease approximately 7% while wave period in the same month is projected to decreases 4.4%.

In this paper, we report on an effort to provide a general-purpose spoken language generation tool for Concept-to-Speech (CTS) applications by extending a widely used text generation package, FUF/SURGE, with an intonation generation component. As a first step, we applied machine learning and statistical models to learn intonation rules based on the semantic and syntactic information typically represented in FUF/SURGE at the sentence level. The results of this study are a set of intonation rules learned automatically which can be directly implemented in our intonation generation component.
