Photoelasticity images of pulsed laser ablation in water and in air were simulated by Finite Element Method. In the paper "Compare transient stress induced in in-air and in-water laser ablation using simulation method", the Von Mises stress distribution in the target is deduced from the simulated images and is compared between the two-ablation regimes. The result confirms that pulse laser ablation in the water can induced a stress about 100 times higher than that induced in ablation in the air.

Nano bạc plasma là vật liệu mới, được tạo ra nhờ phương pháp plasma điện hóa bạc, có chất lượng, an toàn và hiệu quả khử trùng vượt trội hơn so với nano bạc thông thường, tuy nhiên chưa được nghiên cứu để ứng dụng trong lĩnh vực thủy sản. Nghiên cứu này được thực hiện để đánh giá khả năng diệt khuẩn Streptococcus agalactiae gây bệnh trên cá rô phi bằng dung dịch nano bạc plasma làm tiền đề ứng dụng vào thực tiễn phòng trị bệnh trên thủy sản.

Trong nghiên cứu này, mẫu thép không gỉ 304 được thấm nitơ plasma ở nhiệt độ 530oC trong thời gian 4,5h. Mẫu sau thấm được tiến hành quan sát tổ chức, đo độ cứng tế vi. Kết quả cho thấy, bề mặt mẫu có độ cứng cao (756HV) và độ cứng có xu hướng giảm dần từ ngoài vào lõi (360HV) với chiều sâu lớp nitrit là khoảng 10μm và chiều sâu lớp thấm đạt được khoảng 30μm.
