Many supertree estimation and multi-locus species tree estimation methods compute trees by combining trees on subsets of the species set based on some NP-hard optimization criterion. A recent approach to computing large trees has been to constrain the search space by defining a set of “allowed bipartitions”, and then use dynamic programming to find provably optimal solutions in polynomial time. Several phylogenomic estimation methods, such as ASTRAL, the MDC algorithm in PhyloNet, FastRFS, and ALE, use this approach.

The method is based on the analysis of time evolution of electron states in the real lattice space. The Chebyshev polynomials of the first kind are used to approximate the time evolution operator. We demonstrate that the developed method is powerful and efficient since the computational scaling law is linear. We invoked the method to study the electronic properties of special twisted bilayer graphene whose atomic structure is quasi-crystalline.

An attempt was made to study the soil water movement under two type of plastic mulch (black and white) with drip irrigated eggplant on a line source dripper. Both spatial and temporal variation of wetting pattern was determined in sandy loam soil using surfer 15 software. The layout of the experiment was three treatments tested, black mulched drip irrigation (BM+DI), white mulched drip irrigation (WM+DI) and drip irrigation without mulching. The results of the study indicated that DI + BM and DI + WM treatments distinctly decreased water applied in the order of DI + WM < DI + BM < DI.

In the present work we prove some direct and inverse theorems for approximation by trigonometric polynomials in Musielak–Orlicz spaces. Furthermore, we get a constructive characterization of the Lipschitz classes in these spaces.

In the present paper, we study some approximation properties of the Szasz type operators involving Charlier polynomials introduced by Varma and Tasdelen in 2012. First, we establish approximation in a Lipschitz type space and weighted approximation theorems for these operators.
