In this study, the effect of technological innovation capabilities (R&D capability, technology accumulation capability, technological innovation system) possessed by Korean small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on their competitiveness improvement through innovation performance (product development and process development capabilities) was investigated. As a result of empirical analysis using the questionnaire, it was found that the R&D capability of small and medium-sized manufacturing industries in Korea did not affect product development capability or process development capability.

The study aimed to identify where Vietnam’s movie industry is located in the global film value chain based on the digital technologies introduced in the three main streams (production, distribution, and exhibition) that characterize the value chain of the cinema industry. The noncondensable gases in most geothermal resources include CO2 and smaller amounts of other gases. Currently, the worldwide geothermal power is a small sector within the energy industry, and CO2 emissions related to the utilisation of geothermal resources are consequently small. In some countries, however, such as Turkey and Iceland, geothermal energy production contributes significantly to their energy budget, and their CO2 emissions are relatively significant.

Balçova-Narlıdere Geothermal Field (BNGF) hosts the largest geothermal district heating system of Turkey and several geothermal wells used for district heating and thermal tourism activities. This study assesses the use of BNGF geothermal fluid for agricultural activities. The spent geothermal brine was treated using nanofiltration and reverse osmosis membranes on a pilot-scale membrane test system. The qualities of the product were evaluated in terms of agricultural irrigation integrated with the implemented innovative wireless sensor network.

The objectives of the study were, finding the extent of technology application gap of improved cultivation practices of production and to find out the relationship between socio-economic variables with the technology application gap.
