Theories of social entropy consider the system of social relations from the standpoint of the equilibrium of systems and their disproportion.

The aim of the research is to explore the effects of Thai culture on the efficacy of Western modelled performance management (PM) in a cross-cultural setting. Thailand is becoming increasingly important to Australian businesses, particularly in view of the ASEAN Economic Community Plan, which is now in its final stages implementation (ASEAN 2015). The primary data for this study was sourced from 43 semistructured and in-depth interviews with 30 participants.

Effect of irrigation frequency and salinity levels of irrigation on water dynamics under drip irrigation in cabbage (L. Brassica oleracea var. capitata)

Use of poor quality water for agriculture production requires appropriate management strategies such as leaching of excessive salts, selection of salt tolerant crops, frequent application of water etc. Thus a field experiment was conducted at CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar to study the salt dynamics in soil under drip irrigation system on cabbage crop and to investigate the effect of frequency and salinity levels of irrigation water on cabbage.

The overall objective of this project was to provide Vietnamese scientists and extension specialists with the training and tools to implement and foster regionally feasible improvements to current vegetable production practices and supply chains. This was achieved through: 1) greenhouse replicated experiments and demonstration trials in Northern, Central and Southern Vietnam; 2) four in-country workshops and 3) two Australian study tours for research and extension personnel.
