Comprehensive protein-protein interaction (PPI) maps are a powerful resource for uncovering the molecular basis of genetic interactions and providing mechanistic insights. Over the past decade, high-throughput experimental techniques have been developed to generate PPI maps at proteome scale, first using yeast two-hybrid approaches and more recently via affinity purification combined with mass spectrometry (AP-MS).

The study showed that the immunochromatography assay tests were reliable and easy to use. Blood samples were collected from 175 patients presenting with typical features suggesting clinical malaria. These blood samples were subjected to various test which included thin and thick smears stained with JSB, Giemsa, Leishman, Fields stain and the other methods employed which included Arcidine orange staining, Quantitative Buffy Coat methods, immunochromatography strips – optimal and para HIT – f. Assay are used. Gene amplification technique (Polymerase chain reaction) was used.

The solubility of organic compounds in water was related to the environmental behaviors. In this work, the solubility values of 27 organic compounds were calculated by using the different molecular descriptors. The quantitative structure-solubility relationships (QSSRs) were constructed by incorporating the multivariable technique and the genetic algorithm. The important molecular descriptors such as logP, SsCH3_acnt, ABSQ, nelem, nrings, SHBa, Gmax, Gmin, Xvp6, and Xvpc4 were selected to construct the linear models QSSRs with the genetic algorithm.

A comparative study of thermodynamic and kinetic aspects of Cu(II) and Ni(II) binding at the N-terminal binding site of human and bovine serum albumins (HSA and BSA, respectively) and short peptide analogues was performed using potentiometry and spectroscopic techniques. It was found that while qualitative aspects of interaction (spectra and structures of complexes, order of reactions) could be reproduced, the quantitative parameters (stability and rate constants) could not.

Municipal bond analysis requires a sophisticated mix of quantitative and qualitative techniques for trading and management activities. Even though much of the quantitative component is automated and enriched by a tremendous amount of data, much of the critical buying and selling decisions are based on individualized, qualitative judgments. The actual use of formal quantitative portfolio models vary from institution to institution. At one extreme, typified by rigorous investment constraints, the model recommendations are followed precisely.

The method’s performance characteristics should be based on the intended use of the method. It is not always necessary to validate all analytical parameters that are available for a specific technique. For example, if the method is to be used for qualitative trace level analysis, there is no need to test and validate the method’s limit of quantitation, or the linearity, over the full dynamic range of the equipment. Initial parameters should be chosen according to the analyst’s experience and best judgment.

The most widely used analytical separation technique for the qualitative and quantitative determination of chemical mixtures in solution in the pharmaceutical industry is high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). However, conventional detectors used to monitor the separation, such as UV, refractive index, fluorescence, and radioactive detectors, provide limited information on the molecular structure of the components of the mixture. Mass spectrometry (MS) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) are the primary analytical techniques that provide structural information on the analytes.
