Resource constraints

Despite titanium (Ti) and zirconium (Zr) minerals being critical, often irreplaceable, and generally unrecyclable components of modern materials, there is very little understanding on the constraints affecting their availability within the public literature. And while co/by-products such as hafnium (Hf), vanadium (V), garnet, and rare earth elements (REE) add significant value to the extraction of these minerals, they suffer from the same level of recyclability and understanding as Ti and Zr minerals.
