This paper concerns a problem of finite-time stability for a class of linear singular large-scale systems with delays. Based on matrix transformations, Lyapunov function method combined with new estimation techniques, we derive sufficient conditions for solving the finite-time stability of the system. A numerical example is given to illustrate the validity and effectiveness of the theoretical results.

This guide covers the packaging, marking, and loading of steel products for shipment. Assuming proper handling in transit, this guide is intended to assist shippers in packaging and loading steel products to arrive at their destination safely and in good condition. It is also intended that this guide may be used for attaining uniformity, simplicity, sufficiency, and economy in the shipment of steel products.

Bilateral total knee arthroplasty for Charcot arthropathy after cauda equine syndrome: A case report
Charcot arthropathy of the knee is a relatively rare and poorly understood condition. Diagnosis requires detailed history of the patient, radiological investigation and exclusion of other causes of arthropathy. Conservative treatment is sufficient only in early stages. In late stages, either arthrodesis or total knee arthroplasty is the treatment of choice.

In this paper, we establish second-order sufficient optimality conditions for optimal control problem of 2D g-NavierStokes equations. The long-time behavior of the strong solutions was studied very recently in the autonomous case in terms of existence of a global attractor, and existence and stability of a unique stationary solution.

In this paper, the Dirichlet problem for the augmented k − Hessian equations in the bounded domain with nonsmooth data will be investigated. Furthermore, we prove some sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of the viscosity solutions of the Dirichlet problem.

The general constrained extremum problem is studied, in this paper, for which the given cone with its interior being empty. Making use of the Lagrange duality theory with a class of regular weak separation functions in the image space, i.e., the space where the images of the objective and constraint functions run, a sufficient optimality condition for a global minimum point of that problem is presented.

In this paper we establish necessary and sufficient condition for zero duality gap of the optimization problem involving the general perturbation mapping via characteringsetunder the convex setting. An application to the class of composite optimization problems will also be given to show that our general results can be applied to various classes of optimization problems.

This article proposes four sufficient conditions to determine the convergence learning parameters in iterative learning control of linear batch processes. These conditions are established in frequency domain with transfer functions of elementary linear learning functions of P-, D-, PD- and PID-Type, instead of their state space models as usual.

In the paper "Some properties of Reinhardt domains", the authors establish the equivalence between hyperconvexity of a fat bounded Reinhardt domain and the existence of a Stein neighbourhood basis of its closure. Next, the authors give a necessary and sufficient condition on a bounded Reinhardt domain D so that every holomorphic mapping from the punctured disk ∆∗ into D can be extended holomorphically to a map from ∆ into D.

The aim of the present note "Holomorphic maps of uniform type" is to find some necessary and sufficient conditions for the equality (UN) \(H\left( {E,{\rm{ }}X} \right){\rm{ }} = {\rm{ }}{H_u}\left( {E,{\rm{ }}X} \right)\) to hold. This problem for vector-valued holomorphic maps, i.e. for the case where X is a locally convex space, was investigated by some authors. The first result on this problem belongs to Colombeau and Mujica.

In the paper "Delay feedback control in exponential stabilization of linear time-varying systems with input delay", the authors investigate the memory controller design for the exponential stabilization of linear timevarying systems with control delay. Based on state transformation and an improved Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, new sufficient conditions for the exponential stabilization of the system are derived to design memory feedback controller which makes the system exponentially stabilizable.

The aim of the paper "Uniqueness properties of m-subharmonic functions in Cegrell classes" is to provide sufficient conditions for unicity of m-subharmonic functions. Since two plurisubharmonic functions may equal on an open subset of a domain without being identical (e.g. u ≡ 0 and v(z) = max(log |z|, 0)), it seems natural to put additional assumptions on Hessian measures of u and v to guarantee that u ≡ v on the whole domain Ω.

In vegetable growing, seedling is the foundation of a successful growing. Use of commercial seedlings have become more popular in recent years due to effective use of labour and land and economic concerns. It is aimed to produce small vigorous seedlings with sufficient roots and free of diseases and pests in the commercial seedling enterprises. Although certain cultural applications are used for production of small-sized seedlings, growth retarding chemicals are generally preferred due to their effective results.

This paper concerns with a problem of supoptimal finite-time control for a class of linear large-scale delay systems. The system under consideration is subjected to the state and control delays interacted between subsystems. Based on improved LMI approach combining with new estimation techniques, we derive sufficient conditions for solving H∞ finite-time control and guaranteed cost control of the system. A numerical example is given to illustrate the validity and effectiveness of the theoretical results.

The paper deals with the robust state bounding estimation problem of stochastic control systems with discrete time Markovian jump. By using Lyapunov functional method and probability theory, we propose new sufficient conditions to guarantee robust state boundedness for the stochastic control systems. The conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which is simple and convenient for testing and application.

Plants are always exposed to dynamic light. The photosynthetic light use efficiency of leaves is lower in dynamic light than in uniform irradiance. Research on the influence of environmental factors on dynamic photosynthesis is very limited. Nitrogen is critical for plants, especially for photosynthesis.
