The research was conducted in Kisumu County; based on 167 respondents (5 state departments for Trade Directorate heads, 8 beach managers and 154 fishers) in the selected beaches along Lake Victoria. The beaches and fishers were included in the sample using systematic random sampling technique and Nassiuma (2000) sampling formulae respectively.

Floristic studies play an important role in assessing of plant biodiversity, conservation and sustainable management of ecosystem resources. Therefore, this study tried to determine the floristic composition and socio-economic importance of the Poaceaeflora in the commune of Aguié and Mayahi. We used plot method based on systematic random sampling technique to inventory gramineae species within the parklands in August and September 2012. The grass flora of the two communes is composed of 45 species, divided into 27 genera and 8 tribes in 106 relevés.

The study was done based on primary and secondary data sources. A self-administered questionnaire was designed to collect relevant information from the selected 203 respondents. Among this 200 questionnaire were returned and analyzed. Multistage sampling method was used and employees are selected from each stratum with a systematic sampling technique. The collected data was analyzed by SPSS version 20 using descriptive statistics and multiple regressions.

Neutron scattering applications often require discriminating the elastic contribution from the inelastic contribution. For this purpose, correlation spectroscopy offers an effective tool with both pulsed and continuous neutron sources as well as several advantages: the analysis of the neutron velocity distribution can be carried out with a duty factor of 50%, independently on the resolution value; the best statistical accuracy for spectra where the elastic part encompasses most of the integrated intensity is provided.

Project risk management practices in IPO projects by investment bank are to be explored in this paper. This will be done to identify their positive impact on an IPO project in Malaysia to understand the significance of the role of project risk management in determining IPO success. The history of the development of prostate biopsy has changed significantly from random biopsies, to systematic to extended biopsy schemes. Systematic sextant biopsies, even when laterally directed, do not provide adequate sampling of the prostate. Ultimately the sextant biopsy technique has now become obsolete in favour of more extended biopsy protocols. The latter method involved taking biopsies from six sites: the apex, middle and base of each prostate lobe, parasagitally, in addition to any hypoechoic lesion seen on ultrasound. This sextant technique detected 9% more cancers compared with the former method. As a result of this there was a shift away from lesion-directed biopsies to a method of systematic sampling of the prostate using transrectal ultrasound to guide accurate needle placement.
