The simple Matlab

In this paper, an iterative algorithm that determines the maximum number of distributed resources that can penetrate into the grid is developed in the Matlab environment. The proposed model is tested with a simple distribution grid to determine the hosting capacity of the distribution grid.

The LMS algorithm is known as a simple algorithm, which is fast computation time and the computation results are quite satisfying. In this study, the authors used Simulink software on Matlab. In general, this research is divided into three stages, namely modeling multipaths communication channels as an adaptive system, designing an adaptive system model on Simulink, and designing a simulation of 250 iterations.

To mitigate the harmonic problems in industrial power system, the simple way is to use shunt passive filters. This paper presents the effect of compensation and detuning of single tuned shunt passive filter on harmonics of industrial distribution system. The three phase power system and single tuned passive filter is designed, modeled and simulated in MATLAB by using the actual data collected from industry is used.

Direct MRAS offers a potential solution to reduce the tracking errors in the presence of uncertainties and variation in plant behavior. However, this control algorithm may fail to be robust to measurement noise. In order to solve this trouble, the indirect MRAS is introduced that permanently adjust the parameters of observers. The adaptive adjusting law is derived by applying Lyapunov theory. The adaptive algorithm that is shown in this paper is quite simple, robust and converges quickly. Performances of the controlled systems are studied through simulation in Matlab/Simulink environment.

The fabricated pores were found to be stable at ambient conditions and in water. The pore-size tuning technique was further tested on holes fabricated using a different process. In agreement with Chen et al. 5 ,we find that a focused electron beam with a spot size of a few nanometres can be used to drill holes in thin free-standing SiO2 membranes,with an estimated thickness of about 10 nm (Fig. 3a). Figure 3b,c shows a pore that has been drilled using an electron-beam intensity above 1×108 Am–2 .

I am an admitted object-oriented fanatic. I have been designing and implementing object-oriented software for more than twenty years. When I started designing and implementing object-oriented MATLAB ® , I encountered many detractors. They would say things like “The object model isn’t complete,” “You can’t have public variables,” “The development environment doesn’t work well with objects,” “Objects and vector operations don’t mix,” “Object-oriented code is too hard to debug,” and “MATLAB objects are too slow.” None of these statements matched my experience with MATLAB objects.
