Turbines are the most common devices used in the field of wind energy and tidal energy. They are also the main research objectives of scientists worldwide. Different research methods are applied to study these devices, including the numerical simulation method. This is an advanced approach that helps to save costs of calculation, but it still keeps the accuracy.

The composite girder, which combines a steel beam with an ultra-highperformance concrete (UHPC) slab, has gained significant attention in recent years as a new type of bridge structure. However, accurately estimating the bending capacity of such girders remains a challenge, as practical methods are limited. In this article, the authors propose a theoretical approach based on the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory to determine the bending capacity of composite girders.

This work is devoted to conducting a new study for global dynamics and numerical simulation of a discrete-time computer virus propagation model, which was constructed in our recent work. By utilizing well-known results on asymptotic stability of discrete-time dynamical systems, we establish the global asymptotic stability of a unique viral equilibrium point, whereas only its local asymptotic stability was previously analyzed.

The main aim of this work is to use a finite element method (FEM) based on Shi’s third-order shear deformation plate theory (TSDT) to study the dynamic response of sandwich plates subjected to consecutive blast loading. The sandwich plate has an auxetic honeycomb core and two different functionally graded materials (FGMs) skin layers (so-called h-FGS plates).

In this paper, free vibration of bidirectional functionally graded sandwich (BFGSW) beams is studied by using a finite element formulation. The beams made from three distinct materials are composed of three layers, a homogeneous core and two bidirectional FGM face layers with material properties varying in both the thickness and longitudinal directions by power gradation laws.

In this study, the Ritz variational method is used to analyze and solve the bending problem of rectangular functionally graded material plate with general boundary conditions and subject to some types of load distribution over the entire plate domain. Based on the Kirchoff plate theory, the equilibrium equations are obtained by minimizing the total potential energy.

This article focuses on the social judgment theory and its application to examine consumer reactions to businesses. For businesses that apply green marketing strategies in their operations, consumer judgment has different characteristics, which moderates and alters the intention and behaviour of consuming green products. This study applied the documentary method, combining synthesis and evaluation to reveal that consumers often have psychological judgments about the reality of businesses that are implementing a sustainable development strategy.

This article presents computational insights into the geometric and electronic structures of NbSi4 −/0 clusters using density functional theory and the CASSCF/CASPT2 method. The anionic and neutral ground states are identified as the 1A′ and 2A′ states, respectively, within a trigonal bipyramidal isomer where the Nb atom occupies the equatorial position. The adiabatic detachment energy for the transition from the anionic ground state 1A′ to the neutral ground state 2A′ is estimated to be 2.30 eV.

The dynamic analysis is a necessity in the design, manufacturing and maintenance of structures. The analytic solutions are not available for most practical cases and the Finite Element Method (FEM) is not reliable due to the joint problem, unclear loading, material properties and numerical error. In this paper, we present a way to find modes shape of 3D Frame by FEM program using Matlab.
