In this research, an attempt will be made to review the quality of EnglishVietnamese versions in terms of conveying the intention of the author, and then recommend some criteria for better translation of political articles.

The research results showed the students‘ remarkably positive responses to and high evaluation of Audionote in improving the teacher‘ s feedback quality thanks to a variety of advantages including real-time comments which provided linguistic contexts for the teacher‘s feedback especially when the students encountered enormous cognitive load in simultaneous interpreting practices.

This paper discusses the results of an experiment designed to test the quality of translations, in which human subjects were presented with IBM-produced machine translations of several passages taken from the Russian electrical engineering journal Elektrosviaz, and with human translations of some other passages taken from Telecommunications, the English translation of Elektrosviaz.

The excellence of a translation should be measured by the extent to which it preserves the exact meaning of the original. But so long as we have no accepted definition of meaning, much less of exact meaning, it is difficult to use such a measure. As a practical alternative, therefore, we must search for more modest, yet better defined, procedures.
