This paper was performed to evaluate the photothermal effect of pure gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) prepared by electrochemical method at different voltages, under laser irradiation in the safe wavelength range. The formation, morphological, and structural properties of Au NPs were analyzed by UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD).

N-doped TiO2 nanomaterials were prepared with the sol-gel method. The structure and properties of the materials were characterized by using XRD, UV-Vis, SEM, EDX, and IR techniques. The optimal amount of ammonium chloride in the mixture for doping is 600 mg. The optical absorption edge of N-TiO2 displays a redshift, and a long tail occurs in the presence of nitrogen in the material.

In this study, quaternary Ag2 MnSnS4 nanocrystalline rods have been successfully synthesized for the first time by the colloidal hot-injection synthesis route and well-organized rod-like nanocrystals (NCs) with lengths ranging from 200 to 350 nm and widths from 10 to 30 nm were obtained. For this structure, the Ag2 MnSnS4 exhibits a semiconductor property with a band-gap of approximately 1.3 eV.

This complex is the product of the reaction between succinic anhydride (SA) and 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES). Comparison between the calculated and experimental results covering molecular structures, assignment of fundamental vibrational modes, and thermodynamic properties were investigated. The optimized molecular geometries were compared with the experimental data obtained from X-ray data of a similar complex, which indicated that the theoretical results agree with the corresponding experimental values. UV-Vis absorption data of p-nitrophenyl azo resorcinol (Magneson I) and its 2 Fe(III) and Cr(III) complexes were investigated both experimentally and theoretically. The synthesis, characterization, and spectroscopic properties of novel nonperipherally tetrasubstituted metallophthalocyanines (zinc, cobalt, copper, manganese, and indium) bearing 4 (7-(trifluoromethyl)quinolin-4-yl)oxy units has been reported.
