The paper presents the results of an analysis of the decrease in cryptographic strength of the most common symmetric ciphers, taking into account the development of cryptanalytic methods. The vector of the threat to the reduction of information confidentiality stored and processed in information systems in the long term has been determined.

Classical ways of determination of influence lines for structural responses are often inefficient due to high computational cost, especially if properties of the structure are uncertain. The combination of Muller-Breslau principle and the finite element analysis can resolve this problem. In this study, formulations for new finite elements tailored for use in determination of influence lines for structural responses are proposed.

In this study, the DNA fragment encoding for the C-terminus domain of the AopB from Aeromonas hydrophila AH-1 was cloned into pET-M expression vector and expressed in Escherichia coli BL21 (DE3) host cells. The recombinant AopB-C-terminus domain was successfully purified using immobilized nickel affinity chromatography as a soluble form. Crosslinking analysis among AopB-C-terminus molecules in solution showed that this domain existed as a mixture of tetramer, trimer, dimer, and monomer forms.

Using the Kronecker product, a much larger size matrix can be formed from two matrix operands; therefore, the capability of matrix algebra in analyzing the kinematics and dynamics of multibody systems are extended. This paper employs Khang’s definition of the partial derivative of a matrix with respect to a vector and the Kronecker product to define translational and rotational Hessian matrices.

This thesis proposes a new method to determine moving objects by applying some motion estimation techniques in the video compression domain. At the same time, this method will also be used to build an application that supports the identification and search of motion in home surveillance videos. The compression format of the videos in the thesis uses H264 compression (MPEG-4 part10), a popular video compression standard today.

Mucopolysaccharidosis type I (MPS I) results from a deficiency in the enzyme a-L-iduronidase (IDUA), and is characterized by skeletal abnormalities, hepatosplenomegaly and neurological dysfunction. In this study, we used a late generation lentiviral vector to evaluate the utility of this vector system for the transfer and expression of the human IDUA cDNA in MPS I fibroblasts. Leaf explants of Echinacea purpurea L. taken from aseptically germinated seedlings were inoculated with A. tumefaciens strains EHA105, carrying a binary vector conferring herbicide resistant bar gene and fungal resistant chitinase gene. Glufosinate ammonium‐resistant shoots were regenerated on a medium containing BAP and NAA at a concentration of 4.88 and 0.053 μM, respectively. A subsequent transfer of shoots to medium containing BAP was necessary for stem elongation and leaf development.
