  • The aim of this note "A note on Alexander’s theorem" is to extend a result of H. Alexander [1] from the case of scalar functions to the case of functions with values in topological vector spaces. The goal of this note is to extend this result to the case where the target space C is replaced by any sequentially complete complex topological vector space F. The main result of this article is given by the following theorem.

  • The relation between weak extensibility and extensibility of vector-valued holomorphic functions on open sets and on compact sets has been investigated by many authors, for example Ligocka and Siciak for open sets in a metric vector space, Siciakand Waelbroeck for compact sets in \({{C^n}}\), N. V. Khue and B. D. Tac for compact sets in a nuclear metric vector space. The aim of the present note is to prove some results for Banach-valued meromorphic functions on open sets and on compact sets in \({{C^n}}\).

  • In this paper we propose results on zero duality gap in vector optimization problems posed in a real locally convex Hausdorff topological vector space with a vector-valued objective function to be minimized under a set and a convex cone constraint. These results are then applied to linear programming.

  • The purpose of this work is to present a model of trust computation being defined by means of the context of user’s interests and degrees of direct interaction among peers. A dynamic structure of social network based on a hierarchy of peers into k-layer neighbors w.r.t. a given source peer is investigated. We introduce a similarity measure being constructed from the space of vectors of users’ interests. Up on the location of a target peer w.r.t. the hierarchy, we propose methods of estimating trust values via propagation as well as the similarity.

  • In this work, a hybrid approach based on the Support Vector machines (SVM) and genetic algorithms (GA) is developed. The SVM are learning machines that can perform binary classification and real value function approximation (regression estimation) tasks. This tool of the artificial intelligence founded on the theory of the statistical learning was selected for its great capacity of training and generalization.

  • In this paper we give a sampling expansion for integral transforms whose kernels arise from Green’s function of differential operators in a space of vector-functions. The differential operators are in a space of dimension m and consist of systems of m equations in m unknowns. We assume the simplicity of the eigenvalues.

  • This is necessary to obtain related cohomology valued series for given arbitrary vector bundle and multiplicative characteristic class. Moreover, this can be used as a valuable testing ground for the theories which associates quantum cohomologies and J functions of non-abelian quotient to abelian quotients via quantization.

  • In this paper, we introduce the concept of generalized relaxed α-pseudomonotonicity for vector valued bi-functions. By using the KKM technique, we obtain some substantial results of the vector equilibrium problems with generalized relaxed α-pseudomonotonicity assumptions in reflexive Banach spaces. Several examples are provided to illustrate our investigations.
